Tots tres tenen soluci\u00f3 amb un generador PSA ben dimensionat. El primer a avaluar-se hauria de ser el tercer.  <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El cost real del subministrament en ampolla<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El preu de l&#8217;ampolla de nitrogen \u00e9s nom\u00e9s una part del cost total. Al preu del gas cal sumar-hi el lloguer de l&#8217;equip de regulaci\u00f3, el transport, la gesti\u00f3 de la devoluci\u00f3 d&#8217;ampolles buides i el temps del personal que controla l&#8217;estoc, realitza les comandes i executa els canvis d&#8217;ampolla al laboratori. En laboratoris amb tres o m\u00e9s instruments que consumeixen nitrogen de forma simult\u00e0nia, aquest temps acumulat \u00e9s significatiu i rarament es quantifica.  <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enfront d&#8217;aquest model, la generaci\u00f3 PSA t\u00e9 un cost d&#8217;operaci\u00f3 que es redueix a dues variables: el consum el\u00e8ctric del compressor d&#8217;aire que alimenta el generador i el manteniment preventiu del sistema. Ambdues s\u00f3n predictibles, planificables i decreixents en termes relatius a mesura que l&#8217;equip amortitza la inversi\u00f3 inicial. <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Per qu\u00e8 la interrupci\u00f3 de subministrament \u00e9s el problema m\u00e9s greu<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Una ampolla de nitrogen que s&#8217;esgota a la meitat d&#8217;una seq\u00fc\u00e8ncia d&#8217;an\u00e0lisi en un cromat\u00f2graf de gasos no \u00e9s un inconvenient menor. Depenent del tipus d&#8217;an\u00e0lisi i de l&#8217;estat de la columna capil\u00b7lar en el moment de la interrupci\u00f3, les conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies poden incloure la p\u00e8rdua completa de la seq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, la necessitat de condicionar de nou la columna i la repetici\u00f3 de totes les injeccions des del principi. En un laboratori de control de qualitat amb terminis de lliurament de resultats compromesos, aquest temps perdut t\u00e9 un cost directe sobre l&#8217;operaci\u00f3.  <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En equips d&#8217;espectrometria de masses acoblada a cromatografia l\u00edquida (LC-MS), la interrupci\u00f3 del subministrament de nitrogen a la font d&#8217;ionitzaci\u00f3 t\u00e9 conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies encara m\u00e9s immediates. El gas de nebulitzaci\u00f3 i assecat \u00e9s indispensable per al funcionament de la font. La seva abs\u00e8ncia obliga a aturar l&#8217;equip i pot generar problemes a la font si no es gestiona correctament el proc\u00e9s d&#8217;apagat.  <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un generador PSA produeix nitrogen de forma cont\u00ednua mentre el sistema est\u00e0 en operaci\u00f3. No hi ha recipient que s&#8217;esgoti, no hi ha nivell d&#8217;ampolla a vigilar. El gas est\u00e0 disponible a la l\u00ednia en funci\u00f3 de la demanda real dels instruments connectats.  <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requisits de puresa per aplicaci\u00f3 en laboratori anal\u00edtic<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La puresa requerida del nitrogen varia segons l&#8217;instrument i la funci\u00f3 que el gas hi exerceix. En cromatografia de gasos, el nitrogen com a gas portador requereix una puresa m\u00ednima del 99,999% (grau 5.0) i abs\u00e8ncia d&#8217;humitat i oxigen per sota dels llindars de sensibilitat del detector. En detectors de captura d&#8217;electrons (ECD), aquest requisit \u00e9s encara m\u00e9s estricte perqu\u00e8 el detector respon a traces de compostos electronegatius que poden estar presents en un gas de baixa qualitat.  <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En LC-MS, la puresa m\u00ednima per a gas de nebulitzaci\u00f3 se situa en 99,99% (grau 4.0) en la majoria de configuracions, tot i que fabricants d&#8217;equips d&#8217;alta resoluci\u00f3 recomanen grau 5.0. En concentradors de mostres per corrent de nitrogen, el requisit cr\u00edtic no \u00e9s tant la puresa en termes de concentraci\u00f3 de N\u2082 com l&#8217;abs\u00e8ncia d&#8217;hidrocarburs que puguin contaminar l&#8217;extracte durant l&#8217;evaporaci\u00f3 del dissolvent. <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Els generadors PSA de Nitromatic per a laboratori cobreixen el rang fins a grau 5.0 (99,999%). Per a aplicacions que requereixen puresa superior, la tecnologia PSA est\u00e0ndard no \u00e9s suficient i s&#8217;ha d&#8217;avaluar la incorporaci\u00f3 d&#8217;etapes de purificaci\u00f3 addicionals. \u00c9s un l\u00edmit t\u00e8cnic real que conv\u00e9 con\u00e8ixer abans de dimensionar el sistema.  <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La qualitat de l&#8217;aire comprimit determina la puresa del gas produ\u00eft<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En un laboratori, el compressor d&#8217;aire que alimenta el generador PSA sol ser un equip de petit format instal\u00b7lat a la mateixa sala t\u00e8cnica o en una cambra adjacent. Si \u00e9s un compressor lubricat, el tren de filtraci\u00f3 ha d&#8217;incloure obligat\u00f2riament un filtre de carb\u00f3 activat per a aire comprimit que retingui els vapors d&#8217;hidrocarburs abans que arribin al tam\u00eds molecular de carb\u00f3 (CMS). Un CMS contaminat amb oli no es pot regenerar: l&#8217;\u00fanica soluci\u00f3 \u00e9s la substituci\u00f3 del llit, amb el cost que aix\u00f2 implica.  <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En entorns de laboratori on la contaminaci\u00f3 creuada \u00e9s un risc inacceptable, l&#8217;opci\u00f3 m\u00e9s robusta \u00e9s un compressor d&#8217;aire sense oli (oil-free), que elimina aquest risc en origen. Un laboratori amb un \u00fanic instrument que treballa poques hores al dia t\u00e9 un perfil de consum que pot no justificar la inversi\u00f3. Un laboratori amb tres o m\u00e9s instruments en operaci\u00f3 cont\u00ednua durant tota la jornada, amb el cost log\u00edstic i el temps de gesti\u00f3 que aix\u00f2 genera, t\u00e9 un retorn d&#8217;inversi\u00f3 habitualment inferior a dos anys.  <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El dimensionament correcte del generador i del compressor d&#8217;aire \u00e9s el punt m\u00e9s cr\u00edtic del proc\u00e9s. Un equip subdimensionat no pot cobrir la demanda pic dels instruments; un de sobredimensionat incrementa innecess\u00e0riament la inversi\u00f3 inicial i el consum el\u00e8ctric.
